last christmas, I sent 2 lineart for 2 young lady. (do I look like a lineart santa? or just a playboyish santa) . anyway this is one of them that came up first.

shika is a traditional artist specialized in watercolor medium. I asked her if she would want to color a CG lineart of her own deviant ID and she just OK'd without hesitation!

it's amazingly surprising that she improvised with the kimono flower pattern design. I didn't draw that flower, just a plain kimono template, shame on me and now it looks even prettier than I thought. that's the result of having so much passion in doing artwork, no matter what the media to be used, it will go smooth and beautiful if you do it wholeheartedly, right!

as a friend, now it's my job to give an honest constructive criticism (sorry, indonesian language only) :

1. kayaknya shading di muka masih kurang konsisten deh diliat dari arah dateng cahaya (kanan depan atas). mungkin mustinya pipi kiri & kanan dpt cahaya seimbang. soalnya kontur muka pipi kiri kanan kan sejajar.

2. waktu nge blok warna dasar kulit, pasti lupa deh ganti warna di layer background (default putih). jadinya ada yg kelewat tuh, masih ada yg tembus ke langit di bagian jidat

3. highlight anme style untuk mata posisinya kan mustinya sejajar, ngga hadep2an, coba aja iseng2 taruh 2 gelas sejajar didepan lampu (yg jauh), perhatiin titik pantulnya lampu posisinya dimana dari sudut pandang yg beda, pasti kliatan sejajar.

4. tempura warnanya kebalik tapi gpp sih , agak gosong juga enak
